Kirsty dreams of the day when she can make enough money from writing fiction to quit her job and become a foster carer for abandoned animals (and probably adopt them all). Until then, she is content in her day job working at a not-for-profit organisation, managing an online reporting tool for Indigenous primary health care. 

She has a BA in Communications, is working towards a Masters in Creative Writing and attends classes for anything from German language lessons to Calligraphy, whenever the opportunity presents.

When she doesn't have her nose stuck in a book or is madly typing at her Mac, Kirsty will most likely be knitting or crocheting in front of the TV, cooking up a vegan storm, hanging with her (rather large) pony, JJ, or annoying her husband, James, and cat, Diego, with cute animal videos.

Kirsty is currently editing her debut novel, 'Where do we go from here.'
