King Solomon was concerned with discrimination based on ethnicity, socio-economic status and race.  The Israeli Supreme Court decision in Abu Hana is based on human rights and fundamental fairness, two standards that every court should heed.  It is based on Solomonic justice principle that, “if you see oppression of the poor, and justice and righteousness trampled in a country, do not be astounded.” Solomonic justice includes the right to equal protection of the laws, and the prevention of discrimination.
