I thought putting the polytunnel up was tough but this week taught me erecting a plastic growing tunnel in high winds is child’s play.

Task One was getting Jamie to revise for his English and business tests. He’s studying Hamlet. He claims it’s boring.

“I did Hamlet. I ken the words are a bit strange but there’s murder, plot twists, suicide, and humour.” Cal spoke with a passion I hadn’t known was in him.

Jamie wasn’t convinced. “Yeah but Polonius goes on and on and Hamlet can’t make his mind up.”
