What needs to be done?

I’ll wait, but don’t make it long.

our time is short,

 the end of the song.

My breaths are coming harder,

my body’s growing thin,

My hair is thin and grey.

Please lay down here beside me,

tomorrow’s far away.

Take my hand, stay with me,

Walk me home this one last time.

Kiss my cheek and hug me well.

I’ll leave you here,

Just for a spell.
