Karl had two first cousins in town, Annabelle Smith and Benjamin Lewis. They were the children of Benjamin Lewis who was Uncle Karl’s uncle. They were both a few years younger than Uncle Karl and they absolutely were not assholes. 

     

     Annabelle had two daughters who were around my age. Cindy came to dinner and offered to show me around the area. Debbie was a nurse and was working.  Benjamin and his wife, Alice, had two sons and a daughter. They were all married with kids of their own, but we were invited to Sunday dinner once we got settled to meet the whole clan.
