Truett passed the check over to Dennis.  

   Dennis scanned the check for a moment. “One-Hundred and Seventy-Five Dollars and No Cents,” he read out loud. 

   “Don't forget about me,” Truett said.  “I get seventeen-fifty out of that.”

   “Oh, yea,” Dennis remembered.

   “And here's the checks for Lonny and Duane,” Truett said, passing over two white #10 envelopes.

   “Lonny and Duane got the royal shaft,” Dennis said. “They're not gonna be too happy about that.”

   “Well, they can still perform the song with you in public,” Truett said.
